Inherent Rights, Vision Rights

Inherent Rights, Vision Rights

By Lawrence Yuxweluptun

I had seen this exhibit before, but with a head mounted display. This time it was presented in a fixed case, with a two eyepieces to look through. The effect was not as good as with the HMD because I found the interpupilary distance was off. On the other hand, this time the system was equipped with 3D sound, which helped fill out the realism enormously. This piece has travelled around extensively, and is very interesting in it's strong use of cultural content. when you enter the space, you are outside of a large long house sort of structure. Inside there is a fire, drums playing and pictures on the walls. It is a very interesting and beautiful space, if not the most exciting.
